Lippstadt, July 29, 2016. HELLA, the lighting and electronics specialist has one of the biggest retail organizations for car parts, diagnostics and servicing in Europe. At the Au-tomechanika in Frankfurt am Main from 13 to 17 September 2016 the company will be exhibiting numerous innovations at Stand D91 in Hall 3.0 and at Stand A88 in Hall 9.0. At the main stand in Hall 3.0 the car supplier will be showing its original equipment and technological expertise. HELLA is presenting new lighting technologies with the Matrix HD84 light system. A further highlight is the camera-based headlight setting, the SEG V, now going into production. The company is also proving its electronics expertise demon-strating the new product lines it has developed, including intelligent battery sensors (IBS), vacuum pumps, pedal sensors and oil-level sensors. HELLA shows that the use of a "remanufactured", that is a re-processed component, can often be worthwhile, with examples of its starters and generators in a before-and-after comparison.
The joint ventures, Behr Hella Service and Hella Pagid, are also presenting new prod-ucts and product extensions at the Automechanika. Behr Hella Service, for example, is exhibiting a cross-section of its air conditioning and cooling ranges and demonstrating its system expertise with an interactive climatic cycle circuit. As a further highlight the thermal management expert is presenting water pumps for commercial vehicles as well as electric controls for mixing valves in cars. The brake system specialist Hella Pagid is presenting its brake components and accessories for the worldwide automotive spare parts market.
Services and diagnostic solutions for workshops
Not only does HELLA offer its clients a comprehensive product range of 45,000 parts but it supports workshops through the entire repair process in order to make them quicker and more profitable. This is especially challenging against a background where electrification in vehicles increases. It makes a car not only safer and more comfortable, but also more complex for repairs and maintenance. That is why HELLA offers profes-sional diagnostics devices for vehicle acceptance and fault identification. And for prod-uct fitting and system-specific questions the technical hotline can help further. Thanks to high product quality and the transfer of know-how, workshop clients are guaranteed to be mobile again more quickly.
In Hall 9.0 everything centers around professional workshop equipment. At HELLA’s stand A88 visitors can take a look at the challenges and solutions of the future using an interactive touchscreen. Live demos and videos give an insight into the world of diagnos-tic tools and training offerings from Hella Gutmann Solutions. The diagnostics experts are also presenting their portfolio of workshop equipment. Alongside the well-known di-agnostics tools in the mega macs series rank the devices for exhaust diagnostics, head-light setting, air conditioning, battery diagnostics, tire pressure control as well as tools for detecting leaks. New are two innovative pass-thru solutions, further developed for an all-round solution to the CSC tool for camera and radar calibration as well as two brake maintenance tools. Furthermore the camera-based headlight setting, the SEG V, is in production. Visitors can "test" the product for themselves at the "Mechanic Games". The "Mechanic Games" take place at the Automechanika trade fair on Friday and Saturday. There are ten stations altogether and visitors to the fair can complete different tasks as a team or by themselves. At the HELLA and Hella Gutmann Solutions station participants bring the headlight setting along a course to its destination as quickly as possible.
